1. Getting/prolongation of registration for foreign citizens
Accordingly to Law of Ukraine «About legal status of foreign citizens and persons without citizenship» due to existing legislation of Ukraine, foreign citizens can immigrate in accordance with Ukrainian legislation, with the purpose of permanent residence on territory of Ukraine, and also temporally live on territory of Ukraine.
Term of registration is based on purpose of visit to Ukraine and type of visa.
Necessary documents for private visit:
- photos (standart sample and format)
- statement of foreigner (standart sample)
- passport (original and notary registered copy)
- rent agreement (notary copy, registered in ZHEK) or statement from private object, which accepting foreigner (notary registered copy)
2. Residential permission (full-time base and temporary)
If you’re getting residential permission, it gives You opportunity to work free in Ukraine without getting additional permission and cross the border of Ukraine without visa.
Temporary residential permission has opportunity to get foreigner, which is working or going to work and getting official salary in Ukraine.
Conditions for getting residential permission on full-time base (one of the following conditions is enough):
- more than 2 (two) years of official marriage with citizen of Ukraine
- establishment of guardianship/patronage above child
- native child is the citizen of Ukraine
- proved investment into business of Ukraine not less, than 100 K $
- persons, which immigration is state interest for Ukraine
Additional condition – absence outside of Ukraine during last year shouldn’t be more, than 90 days.
3. Getting/prolongation of work permit
Necessary documents:
- Certificate of Company Registration, Charter, Minutes of Shareholder’s Meeting, Certificate of Statistics, Order of assigning for position Director (notary registered copy).
- Documents of education and qualification of foreigner (notary registered translation)
- Agreement about service or schedule of work with company (registered copy)

4. Help in getting of citizenship of Ukraine
Persons which is dedicated to get citizenship of Ukraine, must acknowledge and stick to Constitution and Law of Ukraine; to give Declaration about absence of foreign citizenship (for person without citizenship) obligation to determine foreign citizenship (for foreigners).
Conditions for getting citizenship (one of following conditions is enough):
- establishment of guardianship/patronage above child
- adoption of child
- more than 2 (two) years of official marriage with citizen of Ukraine
- as a result, establishment of guardianship above an incompetent person by the confessed court.
- native child is the citizen of Ukraine
- accordingly to territorial origin/birth
Additional condition – continuous residence on legal base on the territory of Ukraine, not less, than 5 years.
