According to operative data, as of September 27, 2010, Ukrainian agrarians harvested grains throughout the areas of 13 mln ha (89% of the planned areas), and produced 34.14 mln tonnes of grains. At the same time, the average yield of grains and leguminous plants in Ukraine totaled 26.1 c/ha.
As of the reporting date, Ukrainian agrarians continue the harvesting campaign of buckwheat, and produced 140 thsd tonnes of the grain throughout 168 thsd ha (81% of the forecasted areas), with the average yield of 8.4 c/ha.
Besides, agrarians harvested 123 thsd tonnes of millet, with the average yield of the grain at the level of 15.3 c/ha.
As of the reporting date, Ukrainian agrarians also produced 4.82 mln tonnes of maize (44%), with the average yield of 40.7 c/ha.
Rice production volumes totaled 79.6 thsd tonnes. The harvesting areas totaled 14.8 thsd ha (50%).
Ukrainian agricultural producers harvested sunflower seed throughout 2.64 mln ha (59% of the forecasted areas), and produced 4 mln tonnes of the oilseed, with the average yield of 15.4 c/ha.
Ukrainian agricultural organizations also produced 600 thsd tonnes of soybean throughout 388 thsd ha, with the average yield of 15.4 c/ha.
