In Ukraine, the number of enterprises and organizations as of January 1, 2012, made up 1.323 million, including with a legal person status -1.268 million, without a legal person status - 54,995, the State Statistics Service informs.
The largest number of USREOU (Unified State Register of Enterprises and Organizations of Ukraine) subjects was registered in Kyiv - 259,302, in Dnipropetrovsk region - 104,084 and in Donetsk region - 96,249.
By economy sectors, the State Statistics Service published the following data: agriculture, game hunt, forestry - 85,338, industry - 129,313, construction - 91,650, trade, repairs of automobiles, household appliances and personal belongings - 329,555, activities of transport and communications - 45,776, operations with immovable property, rent, engineering and rendering services to entrepreneurs - 187,586, rendering communal and individual services, activities in the sphere of culture and sports - 186,422 enterprises.
To remind, in Ukraine, the number of enterprises and organizations (USREOU) as of December 1, 2011, made up 1.322 million, including with a legal person status - 1.267 million and 55,412 enterprises - without a legal person status.
